BALLINGER– Ballinger High School will be having its second annual Homecoming “March to Victory” and evening pep-rally on Thursday, September 20, at 7:00 p.m. Community groups or individuals are welcome to take part in “The March”.
“We would like to invite the community to take part in the march, everyone is invited,” said BHS Principal Mike Carter. “From the YMCA teams and cheerleaders to civic organizations to ex-Bearcats to the general public, all are welcome.”
The march starts at 6:50 p.m. at the Fire Station and will continue one-third of a mile down to the Runnels County Courthouse
“Come walk with us and show your support for the Ballinger Bearcats. Once at the Courthouse, the Ballinger High School Cheerleaders and band will lead a rally accompanied by a pep talk from Ex-Bearcat Jodi Busenlehner,” Carter said.
KRUN and the Ballinger Chamber of Commerce will be providing the set up and sound. Those who are unable to be at “The March” are still welcome to attend the rally.
The Ballinger Bearcats will be playing the Early Longhorns, Friday, September 21 at 7:30, so this year’s theme for “The March” is Driving the Longhorns.
Come out and show that Bearcat Spirit! Noisemakers are welcomed! None of this would be possible without the help of Judge Hilliard, the Ballinger Police Department, and Ballinger Volunteer Fire Department.
