Jerry Dean Campbell, star of the network TV series "American Hogger" stopped by to 'ham' it up with the Brownwood Amateur Radio Club crew. The club set up a ham radio station and made contacts with other ham radio operators across the USA and Canada, as they demonstrated Amateur (Ham) Radio at the Reunion.

Jerry is being pushed in a wheelchair by his wife Kathy after undergoing leg surgery.

Jerry Campbell stars in the "American Hogger" series on the A&E Television Network with his son Robert "Hunter" Campbell, and daughter Krystal "Pistol" Campbell, and Lea Pennick, as they work to help ranchers rid their property of feral hogs. The wild hogs destroy fences, property, crops, and kill cattle and sheep. Jerry says, "being the American Hogger, I thought it would be appropriate to be a 'ham' radio operator for a few minutes anyway". Jerry is shown using a 2 meter VHF portable ham radio at the Reunion Saturday afternoon.
