The Howard Payne Lady Jackets stretched their American Southwest Conference win streak to three games with a third consecutive sweep — 25-23, 25-23, 25-19 over Concordia — in Tuesday night’s home opener.

The Lady Jackets (7-6, 3-2) finished with 30 kills, led by seven each from Sarah Bishop and Taylor Jordan, six from Tolli Wylie, four from ASC West Defensive Player of the Week Hannah Hicks, three from Sarah Davies, two from Harli Benham and one from Jessica Guerra.

Guerra also dished out 14 assists with Allyson Reed chipping in 12. Service aces belonged to Tate Sullivan with a team-high three, Guerra with two and Reed and Shelby Bridges with one apiece.

On defense, Bridges and Bishop collected 10 digs each to pace the Lady Jackets followed by seven each from Jordan and Guerra, five from Reed, two from Sullivan and one each from Benham and Davies.

The Lady Jackets will take part in the first ASC Crossover in Alpine Friday and Saturday against UT-Dallas, East Texas Baptist and LeTourneau.
