On Friday, Sept. 28, all of Brown County is invited to take part in the Brown County Emergency Preparedness Fair to help us recognize National Emergency Preparedness month. The fair will begin at 10 a.m. and will last until 2 p.m. It will take place in and around the American Red Cross building located at 600 E. Adams Street.
The Brown County Emergency Preparedness Fair will feature information booths, emergency vehicle, aircraft displays and live demonstrations from our local emergency response agencies. An award ceremony will kick the event off honoring our local and state leaders that work in this field. The hope is to educate the public to regularly participate in drills, be prepared, to know the community’s plan and leadership. Any support is appreciate of such a patriotic community that cares about the area, state and our country.
