It’s almost that time of year again.
Time for Santa, reindeer, and of course, holiday shopping. No other day rings in the holiday shopping season quite like Black Friday, and this year Heartland Mall is gearing up for the biggest shopping day of the year in a new way.
Traditionally, the mall hosted Pajama Shop-o-rama, which invited consumers to come shopping in their best pajamas on Black Friday, but this year they have decided to address something most holiday shoppers must combat: stress. Starting at 7 a.m. Heartland Mall will be hosting the Holiday Survival Made Easy event.
The first 100 customers at the mall will receive their very own survival packs. Each pack includes the essentials for surviving the holiday season: hand sanitizer, tissues, and the most important stress reducer: chocolate. The packs also include gift certificates totaling $1,500 all together as well as the sale ads for each store located in the mall. No purchase is necessary to participate.
Additionally each individual store is slated to have their own annual “door buster” deals. “It really is everything under one roof.” stated Charlotte Parrack, property manager at Heartland Mall.
However, this year’s Black Friday isn’t just for the adults. The man in the red suit himself will visit children at who are waiting for him at the mall. Santa will arrive with the Early fire department at 10 a.m. All of the children waiting will receive hot cocoa, cookies, and candy canes from Mrs. Claus.
Also from Dec. 1-24, any customer who spends $50 or more on Heartland Mall gift certificates will receive two free movie passes which can be used at Hollywood theaters.
So whether you are looking for that perfect gift or just want to see Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick, Heartland Mall has something for everyone this Black Friday.
