DALLAS ? Frances Yoes Causey was born Aug. 6, 1926, in Wall, Texas, and went to be with her Savior in heaven on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in Dallas, Texas. She will be greatly missed by daughter, Monya Causey; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Amanda and Rick Self; brothers, Bill Yoes, David Yoes, and Don Yoes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Maurice Causey; parents, Annie Lee Yoes and Elbert Yoes; sisters, Opal Parker, Una Thompson, and Jimmie Robinson and brother, Elbert “Boy” Yoes.? Frances devoted much of her life to the love and care of her family. She accepted Christ as her personal savior many years ago, and her family is comforted to know that she now is in His care. Frances spent her early years on a farm picking cotton and worked as a hairdresser prior to her marriage. She loved sports and talk radio, and was especially fond of stations KEOM 88.5, KAAM and Hermann Bockelmann. An avid weather watcher, she was a loyal follower of Brad Barton’s forecasts. Like many of her generation who experienced both the Great Depression and World War II, she had great strength and resilience and a genuine appreciation for the value of even the small things in life. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff and residents of Treemont Healthcare and Rehab Center for their care and friendship during the final months of Frances’ life.

A graveside service will be held for the family at 2 p.m. Friday in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas or I Stand for Parkland.?
