BRADY ? Funeral services for Mary Voncille Purcell, 78, of Lohn will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady, with the Rev. Barden Striegler and Quincy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Fife Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, in Round Rock.
She was born Aug. 4, 1934, in Brady, to Madison Linuel “M.L.” Tedder and Bessie (Mitchell) Tedder. She worked as a dental assistant and school bus driver. She was a homemaker and was a member of Lohn Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Leitha Morris and husband Chuck of Round Rock and Terry Schnitzer and husband Joe of Katy; brother-in-law, Floyd Purcell and wife Margie of Carlsbad, N.M.; sisters-in-law, Avell Margene Tedder of Farmers Branch and Dorothy Nell Varner of Abilene; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Maurine Moore and Francis Foster; and brothers, John Gordon Tedder and M.L. (Dude) Tedder Jr.
