EULA The Bangs Lady Dragons chalked up three more victories at the Eula softball tournament Friday to improve to 10-4-1 on the season. Bangs also won its first three games at the event Thursday.

In Friday action, the Lady Dragons blanked the Abilene High JV, 8-0, and Eula, 16-0, and held off Millsap, 9-8.

In the victory over Millsap, the game was knotted at 5 after two innings. Bangs scored four runs in the bottom of the third and Millsap answered with three in top of fourth before the Lady Dragons recorded the final out.

Bangs notched eight hits and committed four errors, while Millsap finished with eight errors.

Sarah Garcia delivered two hits and an RBI while Charity Sagebiel struck out seven in four innings.

In the win over the Abilene High JV, Bangs scored six runs in the second inning, two in the third and finished with 14 hits.

Garcia, Jaylee Roberts and Courtney Owen recorded two hits apiece, while Roberts and Maddie Browning contributed two RBIs and Kady Kyle added one.

Sagebiel tossed a one-hitter over four innings with six strikeouts.

In the finale against Eula, Bangs tallied two runs in the first inning, six in the second and eight in the third.

Kyle, Roberts and Owen finished with three hits each as the Lady Dragons chalked up 20 as a team. Roberts and Cheyenne Edwards recorded three RBIs each and Owen added two.

Sagebiel hurled a two-hitter over four innings with five strikeouts.
