Pictured left to right are Nancy Byler, First Vice President of the Junior 20th Century Club of Brownwood presenting Mat McConnell, Librarian of the Brownwood Public Library a bound book of the Junior 20th Century Club's yearbooks for the years September 2003 through May 2012. They are standing in front of the locked glass case that houses Jr. 20th Century Club's bound yearbooks from the inception of the Club in 1929 to present. Originally the Jr. 20th Century Club was formed by the 20th Century Club to include daughters of the 20th Century Club as a study club for reviewing books. Their motto is “We Learn By Doing”. A perusal of these bound volumes reflects a good part of the history of Brownwood.
