C. Jim Glenn, 74, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in his residence.
Born November 27, 1938 in San Angelo, Texas; he was a son of James and Angel Leta (Johnson) Glenn.
A graduate of the University of Texas, Jim had worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, retiring as deputy director of supply. He formerly attended Saints Simon and Jude Church in West Jefferson, Ohio, was a member of FOE 712, the American Legion Post 0888, was a member of the National Association of Federal Retired Employees and had served in the Texas Army National Guard, stationed in Ballinger, Texas.
Survivors include his sons James (Lisa) Glenn of Oak Harbor and Jeff (Cindy) Glenn of Moraine, Ohio; grandchildren Megan Glenn and Emily Glenn; sister Ollie Lou Cole of Ballinger, Texas and nieces Glennda Flatt, Emaleta Mooney, Lou Ann Hatler and Robbie Fuchs of Winters, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary Le Glenn in 1999.
Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, Ohio from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013. Deacon Joe Knapke from Sts. Simon and Jude will be officiating. Private interment at the family’s convenience will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Recovery, Ohio.
