Morris Mitchel (Bo) Robinson was born April 10,1925, to Kirby and Alpha, Bryan Robinson, in
Norton, Texas, at the doctor’s office. He was baptized at a early age and was a member of the old Norton Church of Christ and Winters Main Street Church of Christ.
He attended school at Norton, Texas, then transferred to Winters, where he played the trombone, in the high school band. He graduated, in 1942, with a class of 65 members. He attended Texas Tech and played the trombone in the Texas Tech Band.
He married Fiona Laxton, November 20, 1949, in her parents’ home. He was a farmer and rancher in the Norton and Winters area.
He loved to play golf and fly his airplane until he crash landed, at the Winters Airport and walked away from the crash site.
After his wife’s death he lived alone at his farm until September 2011. He was a resident of Winters Nursing Home until his death on February 28, 2013. He was under the care of hospice at the time of his death.
Funeral services were under the direction of Heritage Family Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas. Graveside service was held March 2, 2013, at the Winters Lakeview Cemetery.
Survivors include area nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Max Pratt, minister, of the Ninth Street Church of Christ in Ballinger, conducted the services.
