GOLDTHWAITE — Funeral services for Inez Elliott, 97, of Goldthwaite, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home, with Doug Holtzclaw officiating. Burial will follow in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She died Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Goldthwaite.
She was born Nov. 7, 1915, in Dexter, to James Monroe Culver and Hester May (Milliken) Culver. She was married to John Lee Elliott on Jan. 7, 1935, in Whitesboro. She worked as a sales clerk at a pharmacy and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Johnnie Beth Elliott of Brownwood; sons, Bob Elliott of McAllen, Gene Elliott of Cypress, and Lynn Elliott of College Station; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Elliott; sons, Jimmy Donn Elliott and David Lee Elliott; two brothers; and a sister.
