SNYDER — An investigation is ongoing regarding the death of Coleman native and former Brownwood resident Justin Vaughn, 25, who was shot in his Snyder home Wednesday.
No one has been arrested in connection with the murder.
At a press conference Friday, Snyder Police Chief Terry Luecke said that, because of the ongoing investigation, he could not divulge much information, according to the Snyder Daily News.
“We still have a lot of questions and not a lot of answers,” Luecke said during the press conference. “At this time, we do not have any suspects and we are following up on every lead. ”
The Snyder Daily News also reported the victim’s wife, Kimberly, called police at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday to report that four men shot her husband. Luecke confirmed that Vaughn’s wife and three children were home at the time, but would neither confirm nor deny if anyone witnessed the shooting.
Vaughn was a former employee at Colortyme in Brownwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.
