Larry L. Hogue

Larry L. Hogue, 72, of Brownwood passed away Friday, March 15, 2013.

Funeral services were held at 2 Monday, March 18, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home with his son-in-law, Pastor Cary Killough officiating. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 pm. Sunday, March 17, at Davis-Morris. Burial with Masonic Rites was held at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.

Larry was born April 15, 1940, in Ralls, Texas, to Glen Joseph and Verba Jewel Hogue. Larry farmed cotton in Ralls from 1958 to 1967 before coming to the Brownwood area where he worked at 3M for 33 years. He was a loyal and passionate Brownwood Lions Football fan and was a devoted member of the Emma Masonic Lodge 931 for over 50 years. He completed Brownwood Citizen's Police Academy and was a supporter of local law enforcement. Larry loved his family very much and took great joy in spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sue Hogue, of Brownwood; two children, Lori Killough, and husband Cary, of Robinson, Texas, and Robin Hogue, and wife Dianna of Early; grandchildren, Tyler Killough of Waco, Katy Grissom and husband Justin of Temple, Ryan Killough of Waco, Chelsea Kaster and husband Jason of Springfield, Mo., Chase Hogue of Springfield, Mo., Kris Evans of Seattle, Wash., and Tiffanie Harper of Abilene; and great-grandchildren, Grady Grissom, William and Leah Kaster.
