Live On Stage, Inc. and Brownwood Area Live On Stage announce The Prima Trio to continue their 2012-2013 Concert Season.

The award-winning Prima Trio, comprised of violin, clarinet and piano, will present their trademark virtuosity in a program of diverse and entertaining repertoire at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the Victory Life Church, 901 CC Woodson. For more information call (325) 643-6049.

The Prima Trio was formed in 2004 and debuted at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, in 2006. Guilia Gurevich (violin/viola, Uzbekistan), Boris Allakhverdyan (clarinet, Azerbaijan) and Anastasia Dedik (piano, Russia) met as students at the renowned Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio. Each has distinguieshed themselves as a soloist internationally and as a trio they have met with equal success. Among their prizes, Prima Trio won the Grand Prize and Gold Medal in the Senior Division at the prestigious Fischoff Chamber Music Competition (South Bend, Indiana) in 2007, earning a domestic tour and debut at Italy's Emilia Romagna Festival. The trio has concertized on stages across North America and Europe and is currently on a 50 city tour of the United States.

Brownwood Area Live On Stage was established in the early 1940's as Brownwood Community Concert Association. This all-volunteer non-profit organization is committed to enriching the cultural life of Brownwood and the surrounding communities through live performances offered at reasonable, family friendly prices.
