The March session of the Brown County Grand Jury returned indictments for allegations including sexual assaults of children, theft and a robbery that began with the shoplifting of a $4.69 pack of batteries.

The panel returned a robbery indictment against Christopher Bostick, 27, who is alleged to have bitten a Brookshire’s employee’s finger on Jan. 31, according to records in 35th District Court Jan Brown's office.

The employee was attempting to restrain Bostick in the parking lot following the alleged shoplifting of a pack of batteries, Brownwood police said earlier.

Grand jurors returned an indictment for continuous sexual abuse of a child against Jesus Felipe Lopez, 41. Lopez is accused in the indictment of sexual contact with a girl under the age of 14 four times between May 2010 and December 2012.

The woman was complaining of an alleged sexual assault that had occurred, and officers spoke with a teen.

Lopez’s bond was set at $250,000.
