On Friday, March 29, students in Nancy Andersonís class at Coggin Elementary learned how to create pysanky [pi-SAHN-kee], Russian Easter eggs. The process involves creating a hole in the egg and blowing out the yolk, and then decorating it with various symbols, color schemes, and styles. The students planned out their designs on paper and then used pencils and markers to complete their projects.

As an added bonus, the students learned to make scrambled eggs with the left over yolks.
