COMANCHE — Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne Feist, 69, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Glenn Dittmir officiating. Burial will follow in Downing Cemetery in Comanche County. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Lunch for the family will be held at noon Sunday at Hope Lutheran Church.

He died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at his home in Comanche.

He was born Feb. 8, 1944, in San Angelo, to Lee Allen and Ester “Bill” (Seale) Feist. On July 2, 1961, he married to Mavis Timmons in Acuna, Mexico. For 40 years he was an owner and operator of Feist Construction in Comanche. He was Commissioner for Comanche County for several years and later worked for the County at the Courthouse. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Comanche.

Survivors include his wife, Mavis Feist of Comanche; sons, Neil Feist and wife Teresa of Dublin, Dendy Feist and wife Lexie of Comanche, and Kelly Feist and wife Sharla of Comanche; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Lohman Feist and wife Vernel of Priddy and Donald Feist and wife Jeannie of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Feist; and brother, Jack Feist.
