Jordyn Senkirik received an $18,000 scholarship from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Foundation at the annual FFA State Convention in Dallas. She will have the opportunity to apply for an additional $16,000 if she maintains a 3.0 GPA going into her last two year of college. Jordyn graduated in the top 10% of her class and was highly active in the Brownwood FFA program reaching the state level in both Livestock Judging and Ag Issues, while also showing heifers, pigs, and rabbits, and serving as an officer both at the local and area level, under the guidance of BHS ag teachers, Denzil Flood and Mitzi Cockerham.

Jordyn is the daughter of Bryan and Sheila Senkirik, and will attend Texas A&M University in the fall to major in agriculture and complete pharmacy school pre-requisites.
