Cleta Burnah Knight, age 81, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in Denton, Texas.
She was born Feb. 26, 1932, in San Saba County near Locker, Texas, to Marvin and Alsa Hinesly. She was married to Robert E. Knight of Fort Worth who preceded her in death.
Cleta graduated from Arlington High School and worked in various industries throughout her career. She moved to Denton in 1997 to be close to her mother and other family members. Cleta was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Cleta is survived by son, Geff Knight; brother, Dale Hinesly; sisters, Anita Witherspoon and Bobbie Amonett; grandson, Chris Wesson; granddaughters, Dyana Clark, Catherine Knight; and great-grandson, Liam Clark.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; daughter, Michelle Dalton; brother, Thomas Hinesly; and sisters, Verna Head Sanders and Ruth Cooper.
Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Eastlawn Cemetery in Brownwood, Texas.
