COLEMAN — Funeral services for Jesse Graviel Jauregui, 69, of Coleman, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Lapinski officiating. Burial will follow in the Burkett Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at an Abilene hospital.
He was born Dec. 3, 1943 in Randolph, Wisc., a son of Peter Jauregui and Mary Lenarez Jauregui. In 1961, he married Connie Martinez in Juneau, Wisc. and they moved to Coleman in 1968. He worked at Taylor Motor Company for many years and retired from the City of Coleman where he was employed as a mechanic. He was a member of the Assemblies of God and attended Jesus Saves Ministries.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Jauregui of Coleman; six children, Mary Angela Orange and husband Doran of Austin, Myra Yvonne Lapinski and husband Norman of Chicago, Bridget Michelle Herrera and husband Ernest of Taylor, Jesse Jauregui, Jr. and wife Isabel of Abilene, Starsky G. Jauregui of Tyler, Justin Randall of Taylor; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Roger Jauregui of Beaver Dam, Wisc.,JohnnyJauregui of Chicago, Joe and Fidencio Jauregui both of Waukesha, Wisc.; three sisters, Betty Salinas, Mary Jane Gonzales and Pauline Patlan, all of Waukesha, Wisc.; two half-brothers, Joe and Juan Jauregui; and four step-sisters and one step-brother.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Jauregui.
