COMANCHE — Funeral services for Lucile Steele, 92, of Comanche County will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Keg Gibson and Bro. Robby Stuteville officiating. Burial will be at Taylors Chapel Cemetery in Comanche County. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013.
She was born April 28, 1921, in Palo Pinto, to John Shelby and Mattie Mae (Williams) Livingston. She was worked at the Sidney School for 18 years. She was married to Grady Steele on Oct. 18, 1964, in Brownwood. She was a member of Sidney Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children John and wife Marsha Gunderson of Artesia, N. M., Gene and wife Nancy Gunderson of Hobbs, N. M., Tom and wife Romayne Lewis of Bellville, Mary and husband Bill Scott of Caldwell, and Betty and husband Jimmy Martin of Comanche; l4 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by spouse, Grady Alvie Steele; brothers, Ira Elbert Livingston, John Shelby Livingston Jr. and Roy Livingston.
