Funeral services for Norma Tumlinson, 76, of Early and former long time resident of Slaton will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in Slatonís First Baptist Church with internment in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Norma was born June 11, 1937, in Eldorado, Okla., the daughter of Charley and Effie (Helms) Corley. She passed from this life Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, in Mansfield, Texas.

Norma moved to Slaton in 1948. Norma graduated from Slaton High School in 1955. She married Skip Tumlinson on July 26, 1957. Norma was office manager for Dr. Glen Payne for 19 years and 8 years for Slaton ISDís SELCO.

Her survivors include her husband, Skip of Early; son, Mike Tumlinson and wife Mona of Early and daughter, Donna Andrews and husband, Danny of Denton; brothers, Doug Corley (Pat) of Clovis and Ezra Corley (Rosemary) of San Antonio; sister, Sue Davis (Ernie) of Slaton; along with grandchildren, Andrea (Ben) Hughes, Matthew (Allison) Tumlinson and Melissa Tumlinson, and Evan Andrews; and great-grandson, Hudson Hughes.

The family will have visitation from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
