FORT WORTH — Every member of the Brownwood High tennis team who participated in Friday’s Diamond Hill-Jarvis Valentine’s Day tournament finished either first, second or third place.

Placing first were the boys ‘A’ doubles team of Mark Johnson and Joaquin Alonzo, which improved to 24-0 this school year, while Casey Shannon and Zach Hall were first in ‘B’ doubles.

On the girls side, Rosie Cadena and Delaney Bennett won the girls ‘A’ doubles draw and Karina Garcia and Brittney Blake finished first in ‘B’ doubles.

Coming in second were Bennie Salazar in boys ‘A’ singles and Bailey Bishop in girls ‘A’ singles, while third-place efforts were turned in by Lindsey Williams and Matthew Bryant in ‘A’ mixed doubles, Illiana Arevinas and Phillip Trowbridge in ‘B’ mixed doubles and Stephen Darneal in boys ‘B’ singles.
