Howard Lady Jacket sophomore guard Danyel Bradley was named American Southwest Conference women’s basketball co-player of the week, along with She’Cara Humphrey of UT-Tyler.

Bradley was a perfect 7-of-7 from behind the three-point arc and scored a career-high 34 points in Saturday’s 80-65 win over Louisiana College. Bradley is the first player in league history to knock down a perfect 7-of-7 from three-point distance in a single game.

The victory pushed the Lady Jackets in front of Louisiana College and into fourth place in the conference standings with two games left in the regular season.

In Bradley’s career-high performance, she was also 9-of-10 from the free throw line. The league’s leading scorer, Bradley was 9-of-12 (.750) from the field against Louisiana College and pulled down eight rebounds from her guard position.
