BANGS The Bangs Dragons scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to rally past the Cisco Loboes for a 10-9 season-opening victory Monday night.

Bangs trailed 4-0 going into the bottom of the fifth where the Dragons tallied five runs. Cisco then scored five runs in the top of the sixth to reclaim a 9-5 advantage.

Tanner Shaw recorded three hits and two RBIs for Bangs, while Brady Glover chipped in two hits and a pair of RBIs.

David Wells finished with two RBIs and scored twice, while J.T. Newton and Chuy Alvarado also contributed base hits.

Bangs will host Abilene Wylie at 10 a.m. Thursday and Merkel at 4 p.m. Thursday in opening day action at the Action Sports Invitational.
