LLANO — Brownwood Lady Lion Sydney Roberts finished first in her second consecutive tournament, and both the Lions and Lady Lions placed sixth overall at the Llano Invitational Tuesday.
Roberts fired an 18-hole tally of 75 as she topped runner-up Shelcee Clark of Marble Falls by two strokes and third-place Tyler Morrison of Copperas Cove by four shots.
Roberts also won the Lampasas Invitational a week ago.
As a team, the Lady Lions carded a 398 composite score as Audrey McKillip posted a 105 trailed by Jessica Barrera with a 108, Krista Fragua with a 110 and Sierra Mendez with a 123. Kylee McCoy competed as a medalist and turned in a round of 126.
Marble Falls was the top girls team overall with a 334 score followed by Leander with a 355 and Copperas Cove with a 366.
On the boys side, the Lions tallied a team score of 349.
Miller Baugh fired the low round of the day with a 79 followed by Michael Hemm with an 87, Daniel Zillinski with a 90, Grant Lewis with a 93, Colt Bertrand with a 99 and Kaimon Ontiveros with a 105.
The Lady Lions and Lions will host the Bluebonnet Invitational at the Brownwood Country Club Monday and Tuesday. The girls will play the first day and the boys will follow the second.
