A 35th District Court jury is deliberating the guilt or innocence of ex-Brownwood resident Michael Bien, who is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill his ex-brother-in-law. The jury heard closing arguments Thursday morning from District Attorney Micheal Murray and defense attorney Jason Johnson, and began deliberating around 11:30 a.m. Jurors were still deliberating as of 12:45 p.m.
