COLEMAN — Funeral services for J. C. “Dude” Seratte, 90, of Coleman will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Coleman Cemetery Pavilion, with the Rev. Daniel Stovall officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home.

He died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Coleman County Medical Center.

He was born June 14, 1923, in Duncan, Okla., to Leonard and Lois Busby Seratte. He served as a Sgt. in the U. S. Army during World War II. On Nov. 17, 1973, he was married to Lucille Smith. He was a heavy equipment operator for Local 9 in California. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Seratte of Coleman; daughter, Sandra Hobbs of Mission Viejo, Calif.; son, Cliff Seratte of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Janice Wilson of Duncan, Okla., and June Price of Duncan, Okla.; two brothers, Riley Seratte of Goshen, Calif., Joe Seratte of Duncan, Okla.,; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by twin sons,Merle Seratte and Earl Seratte.
