BRADY — Memorial services for Edgar R. “Ed” Keeling, 82, of Brady will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brady, with Father John Fritts officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Columbarium at the church. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.

He died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, in Eden.

He was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Marlin, to Edgar Rice Keeling and Abby Madeline (Goodrich) Keeling. He was married to Joan Glasgow on Feb. 15, 1958, in Waco. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brady. He was a businessman and owned KNEL/KIXV Radio and Norwood Outdoor Advertising for many years, and was past President of Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Keeling of Brady; sons, Lee Keeling and wife Tami of Victoria, and Jim Keeling of Aledo; daughter, Kay Calloway and husband Chris of Wheaton, Ill.; sister, Miriam Keeling Jordan of Salado; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Cris Becker Keeling.
