Fishing on Lake Brownwood

Lake Brownwood has a hundred miles of shoreline. It's not the biggest lake in the state, but it's big enough to get lost on, which may be exactly what you're looking for. Water-skiing, boating and just swimming around the docks and shoreline are favorites in the summertime. When it's too cool to be in the water, you'll find the fishermen and women on the water (in case you're wondering: crappie, bass, catfish and perch). There's plenty of room to camp, picnic, launch your boat and enjoy our beautiful lake.
