Buzzards, raccoons and wild hogs are cleaning up the dead fish in the Colorado river. The few pot holes left in the river do not have enough air for the fish to survive. This is good news and bad news, its good to be rid of the gar and carp but bad to lose the catfish, bass and drum. We can restock the bass and channel cats but large yellow catfish take years to reach trophy size. This happened in the 1950's and it took 20 years to have big yellow cats again.
