Brownwood police and Brown County Sheriff’s deputies served a search and arrest warrant Wednesday in Brownwood and seized “a large quantity” of methamphetamine, in addition to cocaine and Ecstasy, police said.
    Ricky Guerra, 28, and Christina Moreno, 39, both of Brownwood, were arrested and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance over 4 grams under 200 grams in a drug free zone, Brown County Jail records state. Guerra was booked on two additional charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance over 1 gram under 4 grams.
    According to an email from Brownwood police:
    Police and deputies served the warrant in the 3500 block of Rhodes Road. In addition to recovering methamphetamine, cocaine and MDMA (also known a Ecstasy), officers recovered materials used in distribution.
     The investigation continues, and more arrests are anticipated.
    “As always, we encourage the community to contact the Brown County Law Enforcement Center or Crime Stoppers if you have any information related to the use or distribution of illegal drugs in the Brown County,” police said in the email.
