On the men's side, like the women's, the top eight teams qualified to take part in the tournament and games will also begin on Thursday, including the Texans.

Tarleton finished in second place in the conference, behind regular season champions Texas-Permian Basin, with a 13-5 record.

The Texans will play the seven seed Angelo State at 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

For all teams involved the prize for winning the postseason tournament is an automatic spot in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional.
