Several students from Victory Life Academy recently traveled to Fort Worth to take part in the annual Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) competition. Elementary students who participated were Seth Bishop, Bible Memory; A.J. Tidwell, Poetry; Finn Hull, Bible Memory; Tylee Lewis, Poetry; Tiffany Phelps, Fable and Folklore; Elijah McDaniel, Bible Memory; Lainey Goode, Fable and Folklore; John Paul Rangel, Bible Memory; Kallyn Valdez, Poetry; Lindsey Bastardo, Dramatic Bible Prose; Adam McLaughlin, Bible Memory; Ian Norris, Patriotic Oration; Lauren Phelps, Poetry; Andie Tidwell, Original Speech. Junior high students who participated were Liya Hull, Alexis Lovell and Caleb Russell, Dramatic Prose Reading; Jayden Tollison, Humorous Prose Reading; McKenzie Lucero and Cerys Merriman, Dramatic Costumed Monologue; Logan Yonnie and Adan Rodriguez, Bible Memorization. 

Each student earned ratings of good, excellent or superior. Hull, by way of her superior rating at the junior high level, competed for a top three spot. She earned a third place finish in her category.
