The Brownwood City Council will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, in the council chambers at 501 Center Ave. in Brownwood.
    The City Council of the City of Brownwood, Texas, reserves the right to meet in closed, executive session on any of the items listed below should the need arise and if authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code. The City Council may deliberate and/or act on the following items:

    6. Citizen Presentations Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

     A. Consider an Ordinance on second and third / final reading to close and abandon a portion of the right-of-way on East Depot Street between Carnegie Street and Hawkins Street, also known as Block 2, Lots 1-7, of the Wilson and Fagg Addition for approximately 20' into the 80' right-of-way.
    10. Requests and Presentations
    A. Consider authorizing the Mayor's signature on an annual certification of the military equipment displayed at Camp Bowie Memorial Park requested from the United States Army T ACOM Life Cycle Management Command.
    11. Ordinances and Resolutions
    A. Consider a Resolution declaring two out of service digester tank domes and miscellaneous scrap as surplus and authorizing staff to sell as salvage to a local scrap yard.
    B. Consider a Resolution declaring an unused Stark breathing air compressor, Bauer fill station and a four-bottle cascade system as surplus property and donate to the Early Fire Department with the understanding that the Brownwood Fire Department could fill breathing air bottles in Early should our system go down.
    C. Consider a Resolution dedicating a portion of Airport Road in honor of Joe Blagg and Brayton Smith.
