A Brownwood man remained jailed Monday on a robbery charge in connection with a robbery Saturday morning at a  convenience store.
    Bond for Jonathan Nossek, 23, has been set at $50,000, Brown County Jail records state.
    According to an email from Brownwood police:
    Officers were dispatched at 11:15 a.m. to the Food Mart at 766 W. Commerce on a robbery report.
    Officers met with the store clerk and store owner. Officers were provided with a description of a male who entered the store, subdued the clerk and stole money from the register.
    Evidence gathered at the scene, along with witness information, led officers to a business in the 700 block of Early Boulevard. Officers identified and arrested Nossek on the robbery charge.
