Sheriff’s deputies recovered stolen property last week in the Lake Brownwood area and arrested a Shamrock Shores-area man, who remained in the Brown County Jail Monday on multiple charges.
Marvin Thompson, 38, was booked on charges of burglary of a habitation, burglary of a building, unauthorized use of a vehicle and theft of material, jail records state. Thompson’s bonds total $125,000.
According to a report by investigator John Fincher:
Fincher learned a stolen hay dolly was at Thompson’s residence on County Road 551
Fincher went to Thompson's property and saw Thompson ran out of his home toward a fence. Fincher ordered Thompson to the ground. Fischer also discovered a stolen paddle boat and a stolen NASCAR poster on Thompson’s property.
Thompson was agitated and yelling that he had permission to take the items, but Fncher said the owner of the stolen items did not know Thompson and had not given him permission to take them.
