Brownwood police arrested two motorists on DWI charges earlier this week following two unrelated accidents.
    Officer Noe Acosta was dispatched Monday to an accident at Avenue A and Vincent, Acosta’s report states. A witness saw the driver walking toward the 1000 block of Brady. Acosta located the driver, identified as  David Stokes, 39, of Brownwood, and arrested him on a DWI charge.
    Officer Kayla Moore was dispatched Tuesday to an accident at Durham and Avenue H, and was informed the driver had fled. When Moore got to the accident site, a witness pointed out a woman standing across the street as the driver.
    Moore caught up with the woman, identified as Delia Perez, 26, of Brownwood, and arrested her on a DWI charge.
    In other incidents involving Brownwood police:
    • Officer Robert Lehman was dispatched Monday to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd on a disturbance call and cited several people for disorderly conduct.
    • Officer Gary Villalpando was dispatched Monday to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd on a criminal mischief call.
    • Officer Jayme Bowman was dispatched Tuesday to Walmart on a theft call.
    • Bowman was dispatched Tuesday to the 2300 block of First on a criminal mischief call.
    • Officer Patrick Weaver was dispatched Tuesday to Walmart on a trespassing report.
