A juvenile was cited for minor DUI and failure to identify after a traffic accident Tuesday night night U.S. Highway 377 South, and adult was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and evidence tampering following the accident.
    The juvenile was processed and released to guardians, a report by officer Robert Lehman states. Brandon Valdez, 19, of Brownwood, was the adult who was charged.
    Additional details were unavailable Wednesday.
    In other incidents involving Brownwood police and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:
    • Narcotics — officer Roberto Rodriguez arrested Dustin Roberts, 26, of Early, and Corbyn Shaw, 17, of Brownwood, on charges of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone after a traffic stop Tuesday in the 2200 block of Elizabeth.
    • Theft — 800 block of Sixth.
    • Theft — 1700 block of Magnolia, where cash was taken from a wallet and a suspect was identified.
    • Theft — Walmart, where citations were issued to there people and Joe Zapata, 19, of Brownwood, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and minor in possession of alcohol.
    • Interference with child custody — Monaghan Drive.
    • Credit/debit card abuse — female used stolen credit card information for a $458 purchase.
    • Terroristic threat — male said a co-worker threatened to harm him because of an accusation at work.
    • Assault — female said her sister’s boyfriend assaulted her when she refused to have sex with him.
    • Public intoxication — sheriff’s Cpl. Taylor Fletcher arrested Lance Robertson, 27, of May, after finding him passed out on a road.
