An Abilene woman remained Monday in the Brown County Jail on allegations that she struck her mother and another woman with her vehicle Sunday night after arguing with her mother, Brownwood police said.
    Terenae Galvan, 31, was booked on two charges of aggravated assault family violence with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, jail records state. Her bonds total $40,000.
    According to an email from Brownwood police:
    First responders with the Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and Lifeguard Ambulance 7:49 p.m. to the 2000 block of Austin Ave regarding a sedan striking two pedestrians. Police learned Galvan was at a residence arguing with her mother. A neighbor was present for this argument, which turned physical at the vehicle.
Investigators learned Galvan was sitting in her car’s driver’s seat when she became upset with her mother and put the vehicle in reverse, striking the mother and neighbor, police said.
            Both victims were evaluated at the scene and transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
