• Traffic stop — Chapel Hill Road and CR 234. Deputy Kaleb Hopson saw the driver of a 2000 Toyota disregard a stop sign and made a traffic stop. William Whinery, 23, of Brownwood, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Jesse Jauregui III, 25, of Brownwood, was arrested on a charge of driving with an invalid license.
• Hit and run — Deputy Jayson Bastardo took a walk-in report from a man who said he was attending a softball game in May when an UNKNOWN person struck his truck. A report was taken.
• Suspicious package — deputy Toby Mathis responded to Main Street in Blanket, where a Chick-fil-A bag had been taped closed and had several stamps placed on it. The package was opened and made safe. Photos were taken and the bag taken for evidence.
• Theft — Walmart, citation issued.
