Three young men from Brownwood face multiple indictments in connection with vehicle burglaries and the theft of firearms that occurred between Dec. 31 and Jan. 4, records in Brown County District Clerk Cheryl Jones’ office state.

The March session of the Brown County Grand Jury returned indictments for engaging in organized criminal activity (three counts) and theft of a firearm (four counts) against Dalton Crosby, 19; Tommy Holland III, 17; and Nicholas Johnson Jr., 19, records in Jones’ office show. Holland was also indicted on an additional account of engaging in criminal activity in connection with an Oct. 9 vehicle burglary.

Additionally, Johnson was indicted on two counts of evidence tampering, four counts of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The engaging in criminal activity indictments allege the three participated together in the thefts of firearms and the burglaries of vehicles.
