Thomas G. Sherick, 86, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at his home in Comanche County, Texas.

He was born in Hancock County, Ohio, on June 27, 1931, to David and Lucy (La Roche) Sherick. On Nov. 18, 1951, he married Phyllis Roberts. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He owned his own

trucking business and later opened a new garage door business in Houston, Texas. He retired in 1992.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Sherick of Comanche; two sons, Michael D. Sherick and wife Diana of Fort Worth and Daniel J. Sherick and wife Nancee of Katy; 11 grandchildren; nineteen great-

grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Bibler and husband David of Fremont, Ohio, and Mary Jane Crawford of Findlay, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas E. Sherick, his parents and brothers.
