EARLY — The Early Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding 28-year-old Justin Doyle Pierce, who is wanted for burglary of a habitation.

Police identified Pierce as the suspect believed to have broken into a house in the 100 block of East River Oaks in the middle of the afternoon Sunday.

The homeowner called 9-1-1 when he arrived home to find a male coming out of his house. The homeowner later learned a handgun had been taken from the home, police said.

Police obtained a warrant for Pierce for burglary of a habitation after follow-up investigation.

Pierce is also wanted in several other counties including Comanche, Lampasas Johnson. He is also wanted by the Texas Parole Board, police said.

Pierce was last seen in a gray Ford Taurus, but that vehicle was abandoned during a chase with Sanger police Monday. Pierce was able to avoid capture at that time.
