Brownwood City Council members will consider approving a lease Tuesday that would bring a new business to the Brownwood airport.

Council members will meet in executive session to discuss “consent to assignment of Burkett Hangar Lease to Flitet 1 LLC.”

The council will reconvene into open session to consider taking action on the matter.

Brownwood City Manager Bobby Rountree said Flight 1 LLC is “a rescue-type company” with helicopters equipped with thermal imaging cameras. Rountree said he could not be more specific until the matter comes before the council.

The council meets at 9 a.m. at City Hall. The entire agenda follows:
