A fight inside a Brownwood convenience store Saturday night led to stabbing injuries for one man and the arrest of his alleged assailant, police said.
Victorino Dominguez, 19, of Bangs, was booked into the Brown County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after the altercation at the Allsup’s store at 1019 Coggin, police and jail records state.
Jorge Hernandez was stabbed five times, receiving wounds in his shoulder, arm and chest, a report by officer Brandon Arnold states.
Hernandez signed a medical release form, and it was unclear if he went to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for any treatment.
Arnold was dispatched to the store at 10 p.m. on a report of a fight. Hernandez told police he had an altercation earlier with Dominguez, and when Hernandez and his brother went to the Allsup’s later, they saw Dominguez, Arnold’s report states.
Hernandez said he and Dominguez argued and fought, and that he was stabbed in the altercation.
