The Martin and Frances Lehnis Railroad Museum will hold its official grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. today at the museum, 700 East Adams.
The ceremony will be held at the front doors under the round rock tower.
All people who were instrumental in getting the dream of the City of Brownwood’s new transportation museum built and opened are invited to attend.
The ceremony is open to the public as well.
After the ribbon cutting, all visitors may tour the new exhibits inside.
The museum will be open free of charge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 14-16 during the Brownwood Reunion Celebration.
