Jimmie King, of Brownwood, assisted by Ann Stevens, librarian, checks a few facts from one of the reference books in the Family History and Genealogical Branch of the Brownwood Public Library on Tuesday. The library branch has been open now for three years. Brownwood is the only city in the nation with a population of less than 100,000 to have a separate building for its family history and genealogical research.
