Brownwood Evangelism Center won first place in the In-Town Floats category, and Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce took top honors for out-of-town floats in Saturday morning’s Brown County Rodeo Parade.

The annual parade was held through the streets of downtown Brownwood as an attraction associated with the 44th annual Brown County Rodeo, which was held Thursday through Saturday by the Brown County Fair Association.

Parade winners were announced Monday by the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce. They are as follows:

In-Town Floats: 1. Brownwood Evangelism Center 2. Prudential/Ross Real Estate 3. Camp Bowie Senior Citizen’s Center.

Out-of-Town Floats: 1. Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce 2. Gillspie County Fair and Festival Association 3. Dublin Chamber /Miss Dublin.

Riding Clubs: 1. Lone Star Ladies 2. Little “M” Riders-Jennifer McKinnerney.

Horse Drawn Vehicles: 1. Best Quarter Horses 2. Mills County State Bank.

Decorated Vehicles: 1. West Texas Extreme Riders.

Antique Vehicles/Tractors: 1. Harold and Sue White 2. Mills County State Bank.

Bikes/Unicycles: 1. Sylvester Jones and Friends-Racing Lawn Mowers.
